Glazing Tape - VT
Product Description
Fitherm® Glazing Tape VT is a paper-like product based on non-combustible ceramic fiber and vermiculite particles bonded by a small amount of organic binder. It can be used for sound, heat insulation in various areas such as car industry, ship building and civil building construction.
As a glazing tape for fire-rated glazing Fitherm VT provides excellent heat insulation and mechanical protection for fire glass in thermally non-insulated glazing systems. When exposed to heat, the product expands and forms a thermally insulating mat of low density. While expanding Fitherm VT generates pressure perpendicular to the glass pane, so the glass will be clamped, to prevent the heat softened glass sink and ensure the integrity of fire systems. Fitherm VT can be laminated with a self-adhesive tape on one side for fixing.
