Fitherm - GH
Product Description
Fitherm® GH is a high-performance intumescent product based on expandable graphite. In case of fire Fitherm GH can expand to multiple times its original volume and forms a heat-isolating shield. Fitherm GH expands in all directions to fill gaps and cavities and builds up a very effective barrier against fire and smoke. The water-resistant property enables it for use in areas with high humidity. A combination of precise dimension and excellent intumescent properties makes this product suitable to reach a high level of fire-protection for many applications.
Fitherm GH strips can be laminated with a PVC foil in different colors, with a fiber glass layer or other materials, on the other side optional with a high quality self-adhesive for easy installation and durable fixing.

Applications
Fitherm GH is developed for a wide range of applications where an intumescent material is necessary to maintain the system integrity and insulation in case of fire. These systems are for example:/p>
- fire doors and shutters
- partition walls
- glazing elements, ceilings and floors
- fire safes and document cabinets
- air grilles and dampers
- pipe penetrations and cable transit systems
Storage
Fitherm GH can be stored under normal room conditions without special care. During handling and processing the wearing of protective gloves is recommended.

Thickness: minimal 0.55mm, 1mm, 1.5mm or 2mm
Width: 10mm, 15mm and 20mm
Length: 25 meter with or without self-adhesive backing
Lamination with PVC foil in different colors or fiber glass cloth is possible. Encapsulation into uPVC in different colors is available in a width of 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40 and 60mm
